I have been trying to get in this place for ages! I’m happy to report that I was finally able to see what the hype was about , and on my birthday weekend!! Woot woot! The place is quaint and cozy. The food was amazing! I enjoy local spots, and Farm to table places have come to be my fave. Oh how deprived I’ve been all these years of eating quick meals! You can appreciate the fresh veggies, herbs, and fruits. My go to at many eateries is shrimp and grits, if they have it on the menu…and they did! This is an excellent breakfast spot with high quality dishes. You can't get attached to the menu items too much because they frequently change, but you can always expect an omelet, hash, biscuits and gravy, and some sort of sweet dish to be available. The dining room is very small, so you should definitely try to book ahead or order carryout online as I always have. You can tell there's some skill in their kitchen I don't know if words can do it justice, but the flavor combinations and textures are near perfection from what I've had, and far above your average breakfast spot around Columbus. Perfection! One of our favorite restaurants and experiences. What can I say? This quaint layer back eatery must be experienced. The Bart was so sweet, hospitable, and great conversationalist. We sat at the bar. We ordered drinks, a salmon omelette, shrimp and grits with corn étouffée, and we shared the grilled cinnamon bun(chef’s kiss) I can’t decide which we enjoyed most , the customer service or the food! Really feels like such a special place. Like it’s our little secret. Friendly staff. Creative menu. I love that there are always new items on the menu everytime we come. It makes it so exciting to see what’s new! Everything is incredibly fresh and always delicious. Yes, it’s cramped… yes… there can be a wait… but it’s worth it. Get there early and enjoy!! Great little breakfast place. The staff is super friendly and the food is authentic. The Blinz cheese was amazing! They reminded me of the pancakes of my European grandmother with cream cheese and jam. Perfectly made; not crazy sweet, but hit the right place. Then as well as I definitely recommend to get the fried cinnamon rolls too! Just delicious!
the morning after the concert by dave matthew stopped. the food was delicious! the inner is very small, so when it is busy waiting, but we had luck and got there how the people were gone. our waiter was great and was funny. I can't recommend the zimtbunk enough! if they have a sweet tooth, they give him a shot! they won't be disappointed.
Phenomenal. The best omelet I've ever eaten. I had the sweet potato, ham, and apple omelet with a side of toast with butter and a cup of green tea. Our waiter was wonderful. We did have to wait a few minutes to get seated because the inside is tiny, but it still would have been worth it if it was a 20 minute wait. We will be back.

I never had a bad meal here. I've never had a good meal. Everything has always been excellent. The fresh rotating menu means you just get what's really going to be delicious. Large family business.
