After exploring numerous high-end venues and hearing wonderful things about Skitby, we decided to take a look. The lovely Katherine promptly responded and helped us secure our booking. Our visit for a meal ultimately confirmed our decision. Katherine was fantastic from start to finish—she assisted us with decor ideas, menu selections, and worked closely with us to ensure everything was perfect for the big day. She was always available to answer our questions, especially with all the queries from a nervous bride on the morning of the event, guiding us smoothly through the process. We attended a wonderful renunciation ceremony at this beautiful venue, which also has the versatility to host other events like weddings. Although it's not the largest space, this adds to its charm, especially for those seeking an intimate setting for a special occasion. The décor is lovely, featuring exposed beams and stone floors, while still maintaining a modern feel that keeps it from looking dated. The staff were polite, courteous, efficient, and well-prepared. The only downside was the parking situation; it wasn't very spacious. However, considering the size of the venue, it was adequate, though some guests might need to find parking elsewhere. Overall, a delightful experience!
There aren't enough stars to express my genuine feedback. This place deserves a way higher rating! The food is excellent, the hosting by Catherine is outstanding, and the staff are fantastic! I've been coming here for the past ten years and have NEVER been disappointed. And let's not forget about how great the overall experience is!
