I always give places I visit at least three visits before I give a review. I?ve been with my boyfriend about five times now to Skybox. We have been on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. It?s always almost empty, which is fine by us because we don?t like crowded places. But if you like being around a large crowd, this is not the place for you. The food is great for a sports bar, the drinks are good and we like the mix of music. However the service is not the best. Like I mentioned the place is always almost empty. However, after placing our orders for food and drinks, I found myself frustrated by the service. I made it a point to tip well, as I believe in supporting hard-working staff. Yet, when I paid for a $5 drink with a $20 bill and requested $12 back, the bartender’s response was disheartening. Instead of promptly returning my change, I was left waiting for about 20 minutes before I had to go upstairs to ask about it. The bartender explained she wanted to hold onto the money in case I wanted to order another drink, which was surprising to me. I’ve never encountered that in any bar I’ve visited.

Only on arrival We met a big black security officer with short dreads at the door, he greeted us and from his accent we could say that he is African or something (no offense). But he was very nice, had a nice smile and spoke to us so polite and professional, even welcomes us! This armed security officer made us feel so safe. This was the worst experience ever. Security was highly rude once we arrived. We met the dress code but because we couldn?t hear over the music, he instantly got annoyed when we told him we couldn?t hear what he was saying. We sat at the bar for a while before a bartender came over?mind you we were 3 of the 4 people at the bar. The drinks were watered down?yes we saw them put like 2tablespoons of vodka in the mixed drink. SMH then they were visibly upset when I didn?t tip for the one drink I ordered. Jojo is an incredible bartender, but I had a less-than-ideal experience on a Friday when they hosted a Silent Party. The lack of music really dampened the atmosphere for me since I didn’t pay for the headphones and no one offered them to me. However, when I returned on Saturday, the music was much better. I would love to hear more hip-hop and R&B, though. The place was lively, and the drinks were definitely what kept me coming back. It’s a beautiful venue, but I felt the music could use some improvement in my opinion.
This is actually one of my favorite places to go daily for food especially TACO TUESDAY, The people who work here r very sweet and kind and hard workers also the cooks it's only 2 of them but they have great communication skills and they can cook any meal so good I also love the salads and the sliders but daily I will get the ceaser salad with 3 shrimp tacos, this place gets 5 stars. The crawfish is good and you get sausage, corn and potatoes included in the price. The drinks are on point and they have a great happy hour Monday through Thursday. First time here and I enjoyed myself. The bartender was very attentive, I forgot her name. Will be back soon!

Heard great things about your burgers. My other half and I ventured in a little after 7 p.m. on a Saturday. The place was dead only 6 customers. We placed our order and waited for over an hour before finally giving up.
