We came here for lunch and the yum cha was cooked fresh and not from the trolley. The food didn't take long to come out and the service was quite good. We enjoyed the BBQ pork which was quick to come out. The pork was very lean and lots of it. The deep fried prawn wontons were spot on and were served with mayo. Soy sauce would've been a good condiment to add too. The spring rolls were good and were meaty with a hint of Chinese five spice. We finished up with steamed calamari in satay sauce which was delicious. We spent under $30 for lunch for two as we only had cold water for drinks. Restaurant highly recommended. Note: toilets aren't in the restaurant they r a short walk away in the complex...
This restaurant concentrates in Asian cuisine and fresh seafood. On each visit were have been impressed with the price and quality of meals - from yum cha to dinner. The meals and their ingredients always taste fresh and freshly cooked. The menu is extensive and is complimented by an extensive drinks menu. Beers were very cold and served in cold glasses - perfect.The wait staff are very helpful and courteous and have a great sense of humour/We will be going back again when next on the Gold Coast.
We decided to have a Chinese lunch and thought this would be somewhat up market. It wasn't. Service was slow and the food very ordinary. The BBQ duck was tough and very boney and the rice noodles were a bit on the cold side. A few of the dishes were OK that's why I've given this rating. I am also very tired of going to a restaurant and ordering wine off their wine list only to be told "we're out of it at the moment" . Take it off the list if you don't have it!! Very disappointing.
Family lunch which had a combination of Yum Cha and Al La Carte. It was great not to have ladies wheeling carts, hovering around you and pressuring you all the time. It was all quite relaxed. The Al La Carte dishes were lovely, and my pick was the chicken with sate sauce, which actually had a very tasty "zing" to it, quite different to others I have tried. Give it a go. Wait staff were typical in that environment. Reasonably priced. Centrally located in Surfers.

Not going to lie, probably the most pathetic yum cha I've ever had. Both disappointed in the food selection, only 1 cart came around with only 5 options, and menu choices extremely limited on selection. I guess this is what happens when you dine at sunny bank and China Town, Brisbane, used to decent yum cha. Waste of a good space, wouldn't recommend to anyone that appreciates a good yum cha dining experience.
Staff were soo rude, if you asked for anything for example soy sauce, they were just horrified. Very uncomfortable environment. Couldn't eat some of the food as it was really mushy and strange. Very very slow, it took them so long to bring our food, although it was supposed to be yum Cha style... only 3 staff for the whole restaurant.
We have had dinner here a few times when staying on the Gold Coast always a good selection and friendly staff we came for yum Cha lunch and the variety was outstanding and fresh we will be back
Don't bother. Service poor. Food boring. Duck was tough. Vegetables bland. Had to ask for sauces. Clientele were loud and annoying. Tea very expensive.
