I ordered 2 vegan ice cream for my 2 children who have dairy allergies. The restaurant served us 2 normal ice cream by mistake! I did not notice until my children came to me holding their mouth and looking very unwell. I questioned the staff,...they gave me another bowl of ice cream and pretended nothing happened! I questioned them again and then they confessed that the kitchen had made a mistake on the ice cream labels! The whole thing was so scary my children could have swollen throat and couldn’t breath! I nearly called an ambulance or ended up in A&E! I can’t imagine if this happens to anyone who have life threatening allergies because it’s so dangerous. I will not go to this restaurant...
Visited for the first time tonight with my two friends. The customer service was absolutely brilliant and the place is obviously very well run. There was a really nice man (we didn’t catch his name) who came to talk to us and was very friendly....We noticed that he was talking to a few other tables as well. He was quite tall and slim with grey hair. Thank you to him for his warmness. The other staff were also really friendly and kept checking on us. I wish I had left a tip but I just didn’t think! The cauliflower bites and veggie burger were really nice and my friend really enjoyed her carvery. Would visit again definitely!
First of all just WOW!! Staff are all amazing, i had steak which i love it to be burnt to a crisp which was cooked lovely but a little light for me so the waiter david took it back and cooked it longer on return...it was cooked to my liking, it was just gorgeous.. we all enjoyed our meals... cheesy garlic bread was also beautiful. We Would deffo go back recommend to others.
Arrived for lunch and left standing at the “please wait here” sign for approx 6-7 mins, (freezing as it’s in the porch with the door open). Manageress was moody and not up for any conversation. have eaten here for the last 28 weeks, as in the opposite. never a bad meal always hot tasty eating ... personal friendly and good laugh ... many have a bad feeling of humor ... could not ask for more good eating. will be back when back in the opposite, even if we have to travel, these youngs can not recommend enough
This carvery is fantastic with high-quality, fresh, and delicate food. I would even go as far as saying it's the best I have ever tried. Like many others, I have driven past it regularly, but finally decided to stop and give it a try.
It was extremely dry and turned to a powered paste as soon Init touch my pallet, this is really out of order as I only expect the best quality ethically sourced British potatoes as i am a chef myself I could of done better job.
Staff are amazing, so friendly, and the carvery is really good. I would definitely recommend a meal here, the menu is wide and varied. The pub is lovely and clean and there are rarely ever any dirty plates lying about. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
I had a pleasant evening at this restaurant, enjoying the great atmosphere and delicious food. The staff were friendly and attentive. I have dined here multiple times and will definitely be back again.
