During that time, I noticed a new customer arriving and joining a large table nearby. A few more minutes went by, and I could see the big table receiving their food. After nearly twenty minutes, I was finally acknowledged by what I assumed was my waitress, who said she would be with me shortly. I used to eat here once a week when I lived in town. Everything was always solid, but never great. Not much has changed, which is nice. Perfectly average and charming because of it. Local spot for sure. Hobo hash was my favorite dish before. Now it’s pretty much anything with their home fries. Great breakfast potatoes. Vegetarian options: Standard diner options.
This was my first time at Skyway cafe and it was a really great experience. Carrie was our waitress. Delightful person with excellent customer service. All the staff was very welcoming. Food was delicious. This is the spot for your summer morning family friendly breakfast. Take the family and friends from out of town. Wouldn't be disappointed.
First time there, Kerrey was our wonderful server. Excellent breakfast, had shredded steak skillet. Was relieved that the coffee was strong and not watered down like others. We sat outside, very relaxing atmosphere. Probably because it was Monday morning, not many people. Can't wait to visit again.

Home cooking at its finest, this St. Pete institution is a must-visit. I absolutely love the breakfast here—the pancakes are outstanding! The lunch specials remind me of my grandmother's cooking and evoke such wonderful memories.

Why do they have such working hours? Especially on weekends, it doesn't make sense for them to work until 2:30 pm ?
