We had a reservation, and although the restaurant wasn't busy, we found ourselves waiting for almost 10 minutes without being greeted by anyone. The servers seemed to avoid making eye contact with us. The hostess was pleasant and suggested we sit outside because of the noise level inside. It seemed like the restaurant was short-staffed, as not all sections were open. So, despite the sweltering 90-degree heat, we ended up sitting outside in a mall-like setting on very uncomfortable chairs. We ordered the cod, which was quite good, although it had a fishy odor. So glad I booked the City Center at Bishop Ranch Restaurant Week at Slanted Door. Such a great experience! All new dishes. Incredible wine pairings. Wonderful experience. This is a treat for anyone who has dined at Slanted Door before!
The food was excellent, and the service was top-notch. The outdoor seating area is quite pleasant, and the restrooms were clean. However, the prices are a bit on the higher side, and a 20% tip is required.

I took my friends to celebrate their wedding anniversary and they enjoyed a restaurant service and the food immensely. Everything was perfect.
