I recently visited Slopes Barbecue restaurant and it was an amazing experience! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a friendly smile and the delicious smell of smoked meats. First place I took my twin girls 26 years ago when it was located directly on highway 9. Sorry to see it has declined so. Going through the motions now...bbq is dry, collards have to be out of a can, the salad obviously poured from a bag, cheese from a different bag and dressing now out of a peel the top plastic container. Service doesn 't exist. Too bad.
Since the selling of slopes this past year serving sizes have decreased. I would much rather pay a bit more for a decent full serving.
