Update: Approximately 8/1/2022. The Manager had reached out to me from my earlier review and asked for the opportunity to make it up to me. Essentially they gave me a free meal. It was pain free and no problems. This time the burger tasted like I wouldexpect. The salt was normal and it tasted great. I upgraded from a 3 star to a 4.5 star. First review: I got the doublepatty cheeseburger. I liked the smashed part and all the toppings. The problem was that it was waaaay too salty. I had neverhad smashburger before but I am sure it had to be a mistake or accident with that much salt. I just renamed it Saltburger. I'll try it again because I know they would not be in business with meat that salt...
When I tell you my crispy chicken sandwich was so hard and burnt that a couldn 't even bite into it, it 's the truth! I live 15 minutes away, so I called them. They said it 's probably the oil that is making it like that. The guy that changes the oil won 'tbe in til later. So you mean to tell me that there 's only 1 person that can change the oil and so you 've been cooking in badoil all day? Wound up getting a grilled instead and they did not even remake the right sandwich!??????? Terrible. Do betterSmashburger!
Im really not a salt liking gal so the brussel sprouts being salty was a turn off..... Other than that everything was great..... From the customer service to the food to the wait. The smash tots really gave me life and the strawberry reeses peanut butter shake was very smooth and could slide through a skinny straw. Really unexpected but soooo good
Grease with a side of grease. The burgers here are messy, gloppy and greasy with little flavor. Can't wrap my head around why they serve up gob-o-grease burgers in a wire basket lined with only a thin piece of paper knowing the river of grease is going to soak through and pool up on the table underneath. Overpriced, low rate food.

My husband Cliff and I have dined here three nights in a row, and in his words, the chef really knows what he's doing! We've tried nearly every burger joint in the Dayton area, and this one is by far the best. I highly recommend it!
Best burger in the city! I’ve eaten at many places, but the chef at this smash burger truly makes the best burger in Dayton—no question about it!
I’m thrilled that I finally decided to try it, even though I waited a long time! I ended up getting two, and they were both amazing!
The service was quick and friendly. The two girls at the front were incredibly sweet!
