Bread basket, salad, steak, and fish (Dorado) were all excellent. Desserts were very good but could be better. For example, the cheesecake should be served with a coulis (often raspberry or strawberry); the salted caramel pot au creme was too sweet. Loved the re creation of the Good Humor Strawberry Shortcake very clever but it didn't taste like it was freshly made. Service was excellent too (although not flawless) and staff really hustled. We had a booth but I was surprised to discover how cramped it was. I was happy that three old friends could have a conversation despite all the activity swirling around us.
We went to this original location to compare it to the one in Las Vegas. Although the steaks were almost comparable, there’s something about a NYC steakhouse that always sets it apart from steakhouses elsewhere. NYC steakhouses are a little more boisterous, has more flair and are full of character that you can’t find anywhere else. For this, I would say that the original location here in New York is above the other.
Very famous, very pack, price Avg 250, but the food and taste is not what I expected, most dish is salty, the dish come out dark and dry, specially the bacon and clam, little over pricing for seafood Raw combo, don’t order the fried calamari, dark and not crispy , steak tastes like a regular steak house steak, don’t get feelings like you spending on a fancy restaurant, not too special !
Nick gocaj made my bestfriend bday dinner so special. Wow the service was 10 out of 10 . I will recommend to everyone. From moment we walk In we were greeted with a smile and good recommendation. The fillet mignon melted In my mouth the desert to die for . The drink were spectacular.

I wish I could give 6 stars for service OMG it was perfect. Delicious steaks. Fantastic calamari (which I wasn't expecting since this is a steakhouse). Definitely worth a splurge.
Had an amazing dinner at S&W NYC. Great steaks! But the real highlight was Tony’s „Captain Tony“ outstanding service! Thanks for having us. We can’t wait to visit the next time!
My FAVORITE place on the face of the earth I mostly remember reading Zagat Survey reviews about this place growing up.
Great experience, Especially Brice and Frankie. They were the best and helped make the overall time here worth it.
