Had lunch here today while waiting for my pet at the vet's office. If you need a good vet, go to Peyton's. If you need a good lunch, GO HERE. Fried pork chops, mac-n-cheese, and fried okra. It was DELICIOUS! Reasonable prices. Great company inside. Will definitely be visiting again next time I am in the area.
Very pleasant surprise. Stopped in wanting more than a drive thru meal. Had the fried pork chop, orkra, with mac and cheese and wow at the jalapeno cornbread! Good sweet tea all for $7.50. The owner prepared the food brought it to me. Amazing food in an old southern diner tradition.
I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The food was delicious and the staff was very welcoming to my family. The atmosphere was cozy and we enjoyed watching our food being prepared at the bar. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone!
The power was out in town for hours, but the server reassured me that they were still able to cook with gas. He offered to make me breakfast - now that's what I call service!
Great people and food. Our group had Chicken Salad, Fried Chicken and Sub Sandwiches and they were all good.(especially the Fritten)
