During our drive from Seattle to Westport, a friend discovered Smitty's on Google Maps and suggested we give it a try. It turned out to be one of the BEST food choices we've ever made! I ordered the fish sandwich and a pumpkin pie eggnog milkshake, and both were absolutely incredible. The milkshake was hands down the best I've ever had, and the fish was fried to perfection. My fiancé opted for a burger and declared it the best he's ever tasted, while our friend enjoyed a breakfast sandwich that was expertly made. I won’t be returning to this restaurant. Usually, their food is quite good, but this time it was disappointing. We ordered three burgers, and all of them had burnt bottom buns from being on the griddle too long, and the patties were dry. The kids' chicken strip meal was supposed to come with two strips, but we only received one whole strip along with a bunch of tiny, dried-out pieces that my child couldn’t eat. They also forgot the apple juice that was supposed to come with the meal. The fries were excessively salted—almost drowned in salt—and the onion rings were overcooked. Great little drive through. It's been there forever. Burgers are great and the fries are the best! I used to always stop here on the way to the ocean before I moved out here. Be aware service can be slow, especially when busy. Everything is made fresh and it's usually only 2 or 3 people working as it's a tiny place. This is a fantastic spot to grab some delicious food. The burgers were excellent, and the onion rings had a perfect crispy texture. The prices were very reasonable. We'll definitely return the next time we're in town.
