You should definitely try Smoke Justis! My friend ordered the Outlaw Chicken and said it was one of the best in town. Since I wasn’t in the mood for meat, I opted for the mac and cheese, collard greens, a side salad, and some cornbread. The mac and cheese was solid, earning a solid 4 stars, and the collard greens were delicious. Now, you have to hear this: I had a Voodoo Ranger Hop Raider, and you won't believe it—it pairs surprisingly well with the cornbread! I took a bite of the bread, washed it down with the beer, and it tasted just like a Christmas cookie! What a delightful surprise! Overall, Smoke Justis was quite good, but I need to come back and try more of their smoked specialties.
This place is awesome, if you like Smoked BBQ, [Briskets, Ribs], Beer, Cocktails, Whisk(e)ys [Bourbons, Scotches] and Great Wings. One of the top wing places in Cincinnati area! My opinion of course! Definitely on my list of go tos. Named after Walter Newton Justis 1905 pitcher nicknamed Smoke. Local guy Born in Morres Hill,IN and died in Greendale, IN. This place has a great Wait staff, very knowledgeable Mixologist back in the Whisk(e)y bar and the atmosphere is really cool. I will definitely back and spread the word how cool this place is.
So impressed with this restaurant. Get service and delicious food. We got the pretzel loaves, which I could’ve eaten all of before dinner came out. We both got a single meat platter- one brisket and one pulled pork. They didn’t give you a knife because you truly don’t need one. Both were tender and delicious. The sauce options are all amazing. All sides were delicious and large portions. Had plenty of leftovers and left with a smile and full tummy!
Nice walk from downtown Cincinnati across the bridge. Got there a little after 4, and it was 'seat yourself ' style. Not crowded, but it was before everybody was off work. Ordered the 3-meat platter and added beans. Had 3 sauces: house, vinegar based and mustard based. Everything was very good, except the greens didn 't have any seasoning! If you need a nice BBQ fix, I 'd suggest this place!

The vibe is great. I sat on the bourbon room side on a slow Tuesday. The bartender was attentive and friendly. I had a yummy Old Fashioned and the Hot Brown, which was also good. The side of fries was a great mix of crunchy and soggy with grease. The bigcomfy chairs and couches and attractive brick walls, tower of bourbon bottles and not too many TVs made it a very pleasant placeto hang out.
Nice place. Fast service although it was 9pm on a Monday. Brisket was fatty and very good. Nice to have good Brisket mac and cheese. Not too much cheese either. One of the best I've had. Wings were thick and cooked properly. Ordered naked with sauce. The house BBQ is excellent. You can taste the vinegar and still thick and balanced. Service was prompt and they take care of you.
Smoke Justis is one of the best smokehouse restaurants I’ve been to in a long time. If you’re traveling from Columbus to Kentucky, it’s definitely worth a stop! Whenever you’re in Kentucky, you must try it. The prices are excellent, the customer service is outstanding, and the atmosphere is wonderfully inviting.
I visited Smoke Justis for the first time and loved their impressive bourbon selection and the excellent bartenders. Although I didn’t try any food since I had a late lunch, the menu looked incredible, and all the dishes around me appeared delicious. Next time, I’ll be sure to come hungry!

Smoke Justis is a wonderful place to enjoy a meal with family and friends. Various types of Kentucky bourbon. The smoked brisket and pulled pork were off the chart good. Spend an afternoon enjoying a meal, watching a KY basketball and spending time with friends.
