my wife and I both have the brisket, but I don't think it was actually brisket. everyone knows that brisket is cut thin slices, but we both got what looked like a big piece of pot roasted. there was zero smokey taste, no seasoned rod of any kind, and not a drop bbq sauce just a bland hunk of bark! all seasoned must have fallen into the green beans because they were so salty that they were limitless. the cheese on the mac and cheese tasted as if it came from a dose and from a BBQ place I expected it to be baked. the price was good, but I will never return.
I have absolutely love this place, but today my feelings were hurt I came to find their absolutely tasty smoked wings only that to warm them they are peaceful. my mouth hurts from trying to eat these wings I don't understand how sometimes the wings are perfectly smoked tender and juicy and then they get this like chicken jerky situation that really goes up, is really not edible! I will not give on smokin because they really make great eat. I guess we have a bad day sometimes?
I've been working here since August 2005, but left for a few yrs and started back in 2010 and I've been here since then. Love my costumers that are dedicated to this place. The ppl I work with are pretty cool too. We cook to profession around here, with our heart and soul! Just can't ask for a better BBQ joint in the Downtown Dayton Oregon District!! love this place! anyone who runs thru (dayton ohio) or on a visit should try this place absolutely. we ate here 3 days in succession and definitiw the best part of our visit. I wish we had a location here. eating is in her mouth delicious, the staff is always friendly. I don't have a negative thing to say to this place. did I mention how delicious this is?
