Hmmm.... Where do I start.. My husband and I were in Miami Shores and stumbled upon this place.. we decided to check it out after seeing the ratings on Yelp... Everyone who knows me knows that I am big on customer service.. we parked, walked in to an empty store. GREAT we thought, thinking fast friendly service... yeah no! We were wrong.. first of all we were not greeting by the worker behind the desk.. so we thought maybe he didn 't hear us, so my husband spoke a little bit louder and the young man looked up And said Oh I 'm good ... so moving on to ordering... this employee has no idea how the smoothies were made, with what ingredients, If it was milk or yogurt.... He offered 0 suggestions...
After two consecutive visits, I must say Smoothie Express is my new favorite summertime spot. During my first visit, I tried the açaí bowl, which was SO delicious and refreshing for the hot miami heat. It 's the perfect combination of açaí, fresh fruit, granola, and honey. Let me emphasize FRESH. The next day I woke up craving the bowl again, but this time I was pleasantly greeted by the owner. I shared my thoughts on the açaí bowl and how it brought me back a second day, and he suggested I try something new. He shared the lunch specials with me. Only $10.50 for a wrap and a smoothie. I was sold. I tried the spicy chicken wrap. Guys; it was so good I forgot to take a picture! Sorry y 'all. B...
I ordered and paid for 32oz bulk me up smoothie which the owner said is one of the best ones they offered. Had to leave quickly to go back to work when I realized I only received a 20oz and it tasted like crushed ice with a ton of sugar with barely any taste of fruits or peanut butter. A total waste of money, I would not recommend this place at all as it is just not honest with their ingredients or sizes.
This restaurant originally started in Miramar, and it was fantastic. I recently discovered they opened a location near my home, which excited me. I visit occasionally, and the wraps used to be my favorite, but now they tend to put too much dressing or lettuce in them. Came here because of reviews and was very disappointed. I ordered takeout throw Yelp and they even didn't see my order so they started preparing it only when I came. A sandwich I ordered (tuna melt) was ok but not something special and beets juice with apple and ginger was disgusting, I couldn't drink it, it tasted like vinegar. I throw it in the garbage. Will never come back.
I came in today thinking I would support a small local business but I was not Impressed. Spent $20 on a Tuna Melt and strawberry and coconut smoothie. The smoothie was ok but the tuna melt was disappointing. Spoiled my whole dinner. I won't be returning. I really didn't want to leave this review but I'm upset about my food.
there's absolutely no reason why a smoothie should take almost 15 minutes to be made, especially when the store is practically empty. tables looked dirty too and it was super overpriced. not to mention the fact that the people who arrived and ordered several minutes after me got their orders made first.
Stumbled upon this location while in the area. Service was quick and smoothie was tasty I ordered the smoothie this smoothie that based off recommendations which was a plus for me being it was my first time. Nice decor, clean. Fantastic food! The smoothies were both refreshing and delicious, with a variety of great combinations. I absolutely loved the tuna melt—it's a must-try dish. I highly recommend this place!
