Snack Bar le Bistrot

So you are travelling around rural France, stopping off in Bastides, and you want lunch. Unfortunately the options are usually nothing (everywhere closed from 12 to 3) or a full on restaurant. Personally I don't want or need a five course menu touristique at lunch...time and if you are the same and are in the Perigord head for Beaumont and the Brasserie Le Bistro. Note T has this as a Snack Bar, it isn't, very much a Bar /Brasserie. Very friendly staff madame in the kitchen and two enthusiast waitresses out front, friendly to regulars and visitors and great homemade food salads, croques etc. and local wines by the carafe. Highly recommended.

Ne pas y aller le jour du vide grenier. Salade de chèvre : 2 cabecous, de tranches de pain, 2 demies rondelles d'orange et de tomates, salade verte : 13 €.Dessert 5,50 €. Vin rosé 24€ la bouteille . Service très long et sans pain ni eau. Ce restaurant est un piège à touristes.Les prix ne sont pas affichés dans les règles. À fuir.

Great place for a coffee or beer on the main square. We returned again and again for the cappucinos and cafe au lait. Inside is a small store with magazines and newspapers.The service is very friendly and efficient. As well there is free wifi so...we would sit outside, sip coffee and check emails every morning.

Ce bistrot de Beaumont est des lus sympathique. Accueil, service amical et attentionné, cuisine excellente et prix des plus corrects.On y va régulièrement, entre amis, en famille, avec des collègues de travail.Cathy est une merveilleuse cuisinière. Des bons plats, classiques de cuisine française, comme on aime.

that is a brilliant little bistro. kathy, the owner, is very welcoming and obviously enjoys meeting people and chatting with their customers. we go there 3/4 times a week for morning coffee, which is delicious and only € 1.40 per cup! there is a beautiful atmosphere and it is protected by local and visitors.

we live in Beaumont-du-Perigord and visited the restaurant for dinner. we had a warm welcome and friendly service during our visit. eating was great and the salade de magret de canard was especially good. we talked to the owner who was charming and we would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Bien reçus avec le sourire et la bonne humeur , cuisine familial et délicate. Assiette généreuse ,et soignée.On croirait rentrer chez un parent chez qui nous serions invités. Les enfants étaient heureux de sortir de table pour aller jouer sous la Halle.

Super petit Bistrot. Delicieuse cuisine avec les produits du marché. Toujours une bonne ambiance, été comme hiver, grâce à une clientèle locale et agréable, sans oublier la patronne extraordinaire.

Bonne cuisine d'été, très frais, très bien situé, ambiance détendue. Il faut passer à Beaumont, et au Bistrot. Les anglais du coin sont des habitués, la patronne est très sympa.
