We decided to go back and swim in the beautiful Cauv river. There is the restaurant Les 3 Picines at the end of the road. We decided to eat there even though we thought it would be like any beach side restaurant, overpriced and at best decent food. We were surprised to find out we were so wrong! Our waiter was wonderful. He squatted down to take our orders eye level. When Bob ordered the Tagliatelle à la Corse he said it was sanglier (wild boar) this only made Bob happier and our waiter appreciated his enthusiasm. We visited this restaurant on a day out to the Piscines Naturalles. The area was absolutely packed and we expected to wait ages for a table, as we arrived around 1pm. But we were seated immediately. The menu is small, but that lets them get the food out ASAP (I mean SUPER fast) which was ideal, as we were starving. We ordered the mozzarella and tomato salad, the tagliatelle with boar, the steak and a kids meal (chicken nuggets the only option). The salad, kids meal and steak were all great. The tagliatelle was so so meat was great, but noodles sauce not so good. We had 4 ice lollies, 2 beers, a large still and small sparkling water. At the end, the bill was 81 Euros, so a little steep and ex...

This is a great place to have a refreshing drink or ice cream after or before a swim or walk. To reach this place, you have to take an unpaved road for a couple of kilometers. The road is accessible for two-wheel drive cars, although a bit bumpy at stretches.

Le cadre est vraiment sympa,l'accueil excellent et de belles grosses assiettes savoureuses Même les gros appétits ont eu du mal à finir ! L'addition est un peu salée (100€ à 3 sans entrée ni dessert) mais on a passé un bon moment c'est l'essentiel ! Merci à vous
Bon accueil, vue superbe. Les plats sont bons, bien préparés, la quantité des plats chaud à améliorer svp. Addition un peu salé par rapport à d'autres restos dans d'autres lieux touristiques. mais globalement c'est bien .
Stopped here after the walk to the cascade. Had a beer and the Course Burger €18) it was excellent with cheese and bacon. Definitely give it a try.

meals in a relaxing hypert setting, waitresses are very smiling and simpactic. the dishes are very good and the meats excellent!
