It was All about the secret garden!!! A sweet little spot tucked away from everything. The vegetable soup was fresh and delicious. The lamb was cooked and seasoned perfectly. The piri piri chicken breasts were cooked on point with great spice. The cream sauce for chicken and pork was tasty and the meats were cooked well. The wine list was reasonably priced. The owner who served us paid attention to detail and gracious.
a very charming place with a tiny garden hidden in the back, where you can eat really good food among the greenery and soft music. There were four of us. We ordered chicken pirinpiri, mix grill, tuna, and pork in mushroom sauce. Everything was served fresh and very good. The place does not serve tea, but it is worth trying an infusion made from more sacred local herbs.
Hidden gem. A little off the beaten track so you are unlikely to stumble across it. Felt like the most authentic place we ate in. Delicious, home cooking at a very good price with friendly, old-fashioned service from the delightful owners. Definitely worth a visit if in Tavira.
