Booked for Sunday lunch on 11th August. Turned up early the table was ready. The staff were lovely. All four of us had Pork with the trimmings. No complaints and pleased how reasonably priced it was. The pub had a friendly feel to it and would recommend a visit. Have a walk around the little village first it really is chocolate box!!!!
This was an impromptu first visit as we had been to the nearby lavender fields and were hankering for a Sunday lunch. Proper pub, no WiFi, no loud music just great food at a good price and the opportunity to talk and enjoy a nice meal !

Excellent service with traditional pub menu. Nothing surprising though on the contents of the menu but satisfying nonetheless. One small point service closes at 8pm a tad early. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
If you’re out touring the Cotswolds, this is the perfect stop for a lunch break. This old and authentic pub has great atmosphere, friendly service and the food is delicious.
Staff were very uninterested, had to ask for a drink 3 times before they eventually gave me a can of coke. Food was slightly gone off.
Not a usual visit in the sense a private reception after a funeral. A lot of people who were very well looked after.
