You can thank the hostesses last night for this 1 star.We called ahead to make reservations and make sure we get our own Hibachi table due to dietary restrictions.The sweet lady on the phone assured us it wouldn't be an issue and to let the hostess know when we arrive.But that wasn't the case. When we arrived and mentioned this to the 2 young ladies at the front desk they looked at us as if we asked them for the keys to their cars! They outright refused to accommodate us. Rather than working something out, Specially when they weren't even full and that we were told it was possible.Our son really wanted the Hibachi experience but went home without one. the food quality was good, tuna sashimi appetizer tasted clean and fresh, but the texture / cut was strange. the chicken pot had boiled well on glue, but room temperature, chicken spring roll was served hot. filet mignon was very good and big. only until the evening is the smell of grilled food, which is clinged to our clothing and hair, perhaps this is a problem with this type of food.
We've been to Sogo several times now and enjoy the variety they offer in Sushi and Japanese dishes. It should be noted we have dined in the lounge and not the Hibachi, though we've seen a number of families come and go for dinner there usually with smiling kids. Prices are midline for a restaurant like this, service fairly quick, and they offer several unique appetizers and rolls.
good eating, good Japanese Hibachi experience on the grill, the man was fun compared to others in the restaurant, but not worth the money. the disappointment that they calculate for a “ceremony” to sing the birthday among others, while “management” runs around in yoga pants and a harvesting tip. unprofessional. great chefs and hibachi eat. our chef liked to spend a little bit much, but that's not a problem. the sushi was amazing as the sauces and suppen. in any case again. amazing eating amazing atmosphere and beautiful location. I love you
Sushi was great as usual!!! Sat in dining room, not hibachi room this time and tried some new food items for us (Thai soups, etc) service was slow and the manager explained they had a problem that night Otherwise no issues.
This place was amazing. The service and the food was so good. We are going to be coming back. Plus the hostess had an amazing butt! Which I told her. But seriously…. Go here. You won’t regret it!!!!!
