Der schlechteste Ort überhaupt. Ich war an einem Freitagabend hier, um meinen Namen zu notieren, und wurde mit einer Wartezeit belegt. Kam nach Minuten zurück und stellte fest, dass niemand mehr wartete und wir fragten die Gastgeberin, wie lange es noch dauern würde, bevor wir überhaupt fragen konnten, ob die Küche geschlossen sei. Aber wir haben unseren Namen vor einer Stunde notiert. Oh ja, ich habe dich angerufen. Welchen Namen hast du genannt? Woher kennen Sie unseren Namen, wenn Sie uns nur ansehen? Oh ähm ... Wir haben sogar deine Telefonnummer angerufen und niemand hat geantwortet. Zieht das Telefon heraus. Nein, keine Anrufe. Komisch, du hast uns sowieso nie nach unserer Telefonnumme...
Worst place. Here on a Friday night at 9:15 am, pull out the name and was quoted 1:30 pm. Came back after 45 minutes to find that no one waited and we asked the hostess how much longer, and before we could even ask, she said the kitchen closed it. But we put our name down an hour ago. Oh, yeah, I called you. What's your name? How do you know our name by looking at us? We even called your phone number and no one answered *Pulls out phone* Nope, no calls. Funny, you never asked us about our phone number. Can we see a manager? Another girl said we could see if they kept the kitchen open for you, so we said okay. This restaurant was the worst experience ever. We arrived on a Friday night at 9:15, put our name down, and were told it would be a 1:30 hour wait. When we returned after 45 minutes, no one else was waiting and we asked the hostess how much longer. She informed us that the kitchen was already closed, even though we had put our name down an hour ago. When we questioned how they knew our name without asking or calling us, they couldn't provide a valid explanation. Despite our attempts to see a manager, one never appeared. We were eventually seated and told we had to order in 5 minutes before they closed. We ordered a mango margarita, but were brought a strawberry one instead. When we complaine...
Sol Y Luna offers decent Mexican cuisine. It's not amazing, but it's worth checking out for lunch or arriving before the busy dinner rush, typically after 6pm. The restaurant does not accept reservations, so be prepared for a potentially long wait. It's always bustling and noisy, and parking can be a challenge unless you use the valet service. The waitstaff can seem rushed and may not be overly friendly or attentive. Considering these factors, I recommend trying the order-then-sit style of dining at Las Fuentes in Reseda or even Senior Sol in Northridge, as they have the same owners, menu, and offer a more relaxed atmosphere that may be easier on your digestive system. Sol Y Luna hat ziemlich gutes mexikanisches Essen. Nicht großartig, aber es lohnt sich, zum Mittagessen zu gehen oder wenn Sie vor dem Abendessen ankommen, das jederzeit danach erfolgt. Sol Y Luna has pretty good Mexican food. Not great, but it is worth going for lunch or if you rush before dinner, which every time after 6:00. You do not take reservations and it can wait very long. ALWAYS is full and loud. Parking is a stressful, unless you valet. Waiters are frenzied and therefore not excessively friendly or very attentive. So why are you sitting? I have decided that I prefer that the order seat in Las Fuentes is called Reseda and even Senior Sol in Northridge. Same owners, same food, calmer atmosphere and better for your digestion.
Search You're a fantastic Mexican restaurant, don't look further than Sol y Luna! This place is absolutely amazing, and I cannot recommend it very much...
