The spot is a great base for advanced surfers with a rental car or anybody who wants to check out the north coast of Gran Canaria. The guys have a board rental there and the boards where quite decent and for a good price. The biggest bonus is the kitchen there: serving traditional canarian food, but also great burgers. Altogether the hostal is very clean and it was never crowded. On fridays and saturdays they have live music. The owners Carlos and Fran are great guys and can help you finding surfspots. But like mentioned the north coast is definetely for advanced surfers only with a rental car (reef, rocks, sea urchins, heavy waves), the next beginner spots are las palmas or playa del hombre...
Hoy fuimos por primera vez al restaurante y debo decir que hemos salido muy contentas, han sido la guinda del pastel para celebrar el día de las madres. Desde el primer momento la atención fue genial, no teníamos reserva y nos buscaron una mesa para dos sobre la marcha; cual sorpresa la mía que son pet friendly, acogieron a Duque con mucho cariño ofreciéndole agua. La comida exquisita , todos los platos que pedimos estaban buenísimos y en su punto. Los llevaron a la mesa en su momento exacto. Gracias a el equipo y mis felicitaciones al cocinero. Les recomiendo que hagan reserva, pues esta bastante concurrido. Para repetir sin lugar a dudas
Sinceramente no volvería por qué la comida no era gran cosa y el precio estaba algo alto para la calidad, la hamburguesa parecía comprada de esas de congeladas el pescado que comió sabía fatal no mal pero no sabía bien para qué voy a decir más no volvería qué pena, el lugar bien me gustó si la comida mejorará.
We had an awesome mojito in Soledad Big Waves, sadly missed live music and some public surf video watching but then on saturday morning before we left we went again to have really good freshly made churros witch excellent thick hot chocolate! In general the ambiente is really cool here.

A really cool place! It is like entering the wrold of surf. They serve fresh and authentic food (home made fries and burgers are amazing). The service is friendly and laidback. It is located in a very interesting old house. I think it is definitely worth a visit!
No puedo opinar sobre la comida porque sólo tomamos jarras de cerveza. Sitio agradable, buen ambiente y buen servicio
Estupenda la comida ,servicio muy bueno, y buen ambiente.sin dudas lo recomiendo para pasar un rato agradable.
Es la segunda vez q estoy aquí y tanto el ambiente, como el personal y la comida está todo muy bien
