I’m so pleased that there are such great places to eat lunch in the middle of west Roxbury center. This gem of a restaurant was not packed at lunch time, they offer a nice lunch menu that includes and appetizer, an entree and a drink. Apart from being quite affordable the food was delightful. The shrimp rolls where fresh and hardy with all those crunchy vegetables, my mouth is watering just thinking about it. The Basil rice was so colorful and jam packed with flavor. There was so much shrimp and the portion was so big I took some home to eat later. Ithey also have Thai iced tea!!!! I recommend this place for anyone stopping by in West Roxbury, I know the locals love this place and come visit...
Somtum has been on my list of Thai places to try for a while now, and they really delivered on flavor! I stopped by for take-out this weekend and ordered the basil fried rice with tofu and the tom yum soup. The tom yum soup was spicy perfection and everything that I wanted on a cold day. The basil fried rice was a super generous size for the money--I should have leftovers for 1-2 days depending on how hungry I get! I also showed up 15 min before my order time and my food was ready for me anyways! Score! Doesn't get any better than that. Can't wait to go back soon and try more of the menu.
We enjoyed a delicious meal to celebrate my son's 34th birthday. The Shrimp Pad Thai was incredibly flavorful and satisfying. My son's favorite dish, Drunken Noodles With Beef, did not disappoint. The Chicken Basil was a tasty addition to our meal, and the Red Curry with Chicken was simply amazing. Overall, the food was fantastic.
This is the best Thai food I have had in years, hands down. Whether you stick to old favorites or try their unique specialties, the use of fresh ingredients and modern flair make every dish feel fresh and delicious. I highly recommend trying their signature dishes, like the creative noodle selections which are absolutely amazing.

This restaurant offers a separate menu specifically for vegetarians, with many options being either vegan or able to be made vegan. They are also accommodating and willing to veganize other dishes, such as pad Thai, upon request. The service is quick and efficient, making for a great dining experience.
We chose to eat at the restaurant on a Friday night. We were the only diners at first, but a few more people arrived after us. We ordered crab rangoons, green papaya salad, ginger crispy duck, and mango curry. The food was fresh and delicious. The service was attentive and the atmosphere was great.
I haven't had Thai food this delicious in years. You can revisit your old favorites and they will make it feel like a whole new experience with their fresh ingredients and expertise. I recommend trying their own special dishes for a real treat. Their noodles and dumplings are especially delicious.
The food here is amazing and the people that work here are so very nice. We get take out from here every few weeks and the experience is the same. Exceptionally nice people and amazing food. If you love Thai this is the only place in area to go!!!

we had an exquisite meal to celebrate my sons 34. birthday we had shrimp pad thai, that was so ruthless. noodles with bark, that is my sohn favorite dish, chicken basil, that is a big on rice, red curry with huhn as well as...awesome food.
This is without a doubt the best Asian cuisine I have ever tasted in West Roxbury! Everything is cooked to perfection and bursting with freshness and flavor. I highly recommend this restaurant!
