Location is top notch frontline panoramic view of the open sea, lovely outside terrace with 2 pools and sun beds plus access to the sea (no beach , pleasant interior with sea view if weather is more inclement. Food is fabulous value very wide choice and option for full or half portions on many plates. I have been coming here for years and the food and service never falters. Particularly recommend the onion soup with (extremely cheesy topping, spaghetti with garlic and parsley, the libritos (absolutely stuffed with cheese and ham and the grilled sole is one of the very best. Disfrutamos muchísimo, comida muy rica, vistas espectaculares y buena atención.Entradas pan alioli (el alioli es de 10), mejillones con nata, cebolla y perejil (lo recomiendo), chipirones, entrecot y huevos con bacon y patatas.Nos dieron facilidades para la opción del comensal sin gluten y le sacaron tostadas de pan.Además tienen las dos piscinas que puedes usar desde que entras y hasta que cierren aunque hayas terminado la comida.A escasos 100 metros tiene acceso a la cala de Son Ganxo que es fantástica para un baño.No es bar, es solo restaurante y es casi obligado para garantizarte mesa reservar, sólo dan comidas de mediodía.Si volvemos a la isla repetiremos sin dudarlo y lo recomendaremos...
The Son Ganxo was the destination where I met my other long weekenders, and what a place. Right on the rocks (If you fancy a dip) a little rough and windy when we visited but I'm sure its very inviting when calmer. Superb views, the food, rustic in style, superb flavours and excellently prepared was tasty and plentiful. Service was with a smile and they coped admirably with such a large group, a truly fine experience. Price wise very reasonable.
Lo recomiendo por qué cuando reservas la mesa es para todo el día, abren a las 1230 pm hasta las 6pm.Tienes una piscina con unas vistas preciosas al mar.Comida muy buena precio un poco caro pero bien.Lastima es el último año de EMI la dueña del restaurante, lleva más de 30 años llevando el negocio y se retira, la echaremos mucho de menos,Le deseo todo lo mejor un fuerte abrazo.Tengo muy buenas memorias y lo recomiendo a todos.Disfrutar mucho
What a great place for a long family lunch. Food was great, staff very accommodating even though we turned up with 12 people without booking!!! Call to book do not email like our friend did and discover there is not a booking!!!! Adults enjoyed lunching while the kids swam in the pool and sea. Spot of cliff jumping after lunch. So good going back in a couple of days.
Fuimos a ver si tenían mesa y nada más preguntar, una mujer nos contestó de malas formas diciendo que estaban llenos. Qué menos que mostrar algo de educación aunque no nos puedan atender.
