Song is the most authentic Sichuan Chinese food in the area. My parents grew up in China and pretty much refuse to eat Chinese food out at any other restaurants in the area (other than Shu and Han, which are run by the same owner). The Sichuan flavors are exactly what you want flavorful and spicy with that signature tingling sensation. I love the dan dan noodles, gummy noodles, chili oil wontons, and the SOUP DUMPLINGS!! I’ve had the “best” soup dumplings in nyc and these were far superior. Flavorful broth, juicy meaty filling, thin dumpling skin. I went to a restaurant to eat every time and even though their service was not good, I would always leave a almost 20% tip. But today I didn’t. The waiter chased me outside and asked me for a tip. There was a reason why I didn’t give it, but she said I wasn’t Civilized people, she said don’t come here again! I just don't give tip once, She Juged me are not a civilized person. It is too coercive and snobbish.Don’t come here anymore!

Small place, but great street kitchen. And prices are not bad. We order many dishes, but soup dumplings and Dan noodles stood out. They only serve beer and wine. Service was fast and efficient. Place is clean.
