Ordered online to be ready at a specific time, when I got there I waited and viewed that the food was still in the kitchen and that was fine, but then people at this location cleared the system saying ?they were on their way? and then turned it off likethey had delivered the food. They only fooled the system to allow 25 minutes from the already 20. When the car hopper came outshe said she was the only one working(on a Saturday night)as if this is a normal day thing, management at this location need tobe reviewed. The food came out old, like if it had been on a heat lamp for hours unfortunately
I would give this place zero stars if I could. The manager, Gabriella, was extremely rude and unhelpful. After waiting over 30 minutes for my order, I requested a refund, and she told me that she couldn't issue one and that I needed to contact corporate. When I asked for the corporate phone number, she didn't know it because she had never needed to use it before. I've been to Sonic locations throughout Southern California and have never had a bad experience until now. I advise against visiting this Sonic in Rancho Cucamonga on 4th Street.
We love visiting Sonic Drive-In on hot days for their refreshing slushes. We ordered two and then watched several cars that arrived after us receive their orders first. The car hop eventually asked if we had ordered, and we confirmed that we had paid, but she couldn't find our order in the system. After we explained again, they finally located our order more than 20 minutes later—after serving three or four other cars. Despite this delay, the menu still offers some great options to enjoy.
This place is terrible! I waited in the stalls for 20 minutes, then a worker told me the stalls were closed but the drive-thru line was open. I ended up waiting in line for an hour! I can’t believe people give this place good reviews. It shouldn’t be called Sonic, but “Slow” because of the workers and how sluggish the service is. It’s disappointing that even peanut butter and jelly sandwiches are better than this. They really need to improve!

I ordered the chicken tenders, and while it might not be the specific restaurant's fault, they were reminiscent of gas station tenders, perhaps even a bit more cardboard-like. On a positive note, the Cherry Dr. Pepper with lime was enjoyable, so at least I discovered that! However, my toast, tater tots, and onion rings included a single stale ring. I doubt I'll be returning anytime soon.
Sonic Drive-In is perfect whether you’re grabbing a quick bite, eating in your car, or dining at a table. They even offer a teacher discount program. Apologies for the lack of photos—the cheeseburger disappeared before I could snap a picture, and the same goes for the churro shake. Luckily, I managed to get a picture of the empty container!
