I visited my local Sonic today and ordered some food. The service was great and very quick, and the lady who helped me was really nice. It was a much better experience than my last visit, though I'm still waiting on my gift card. My footlong hot dog could have been served a bit hotter, but otherwise, everything was really nice. I considered eating outside at the tables in front of the store, but they could use a bit more cleaning. Overall, it was a significantly better experience than the last time I was there.
It seems the app has finally been fixed, allowing orders to be placed from the Springfield, Oregon location—about time! Now I can order ahead and have my food ready when I arrive. The food is great, the shakes are delicious, and the staff are consistently friendly. The only issue was with the app, which has had its problems. On Tuesdays after 5 PM, you can get half-price cheeseburgers if you order through the app, and thankfully, it’s working now!
I am honestly not the type to leave reviews of restaurants or businesses but I'm sitting here in the drive up on a Sunday afternoon and they have twelve cars in the drive through and the majority of the drive up stalls are full. With how busy they are I would have waited twenty min or more for my food and I wouldn't complain. I got my food in less than 5 minutes, I am thoroughly impressed.
The burger was overly greasy and bland. The ocean water soda tasted watered down, despite having no ice. The bacon was unevenly cooked, with some pieces burnt and others underdone. The only highlight was the tots, which were perfectly crispy. Next time, I might just order the tots by themselves.

I was really craving a corn dog, so I ordered two. Unfortunately, when I took a bite, they were soggy and undercooked. It seems like the food isn’t fresh when I order late, which is quite disappointing. On the bright side, the milkshake was excellent!
The food and drinks at Sonic Drive-In are amazing, especially their chili dogs and slushies! I’m looking forward to trying their ice cream today!
the strawberry cheesecake shake was absolutely incredible I will definitely be ordering it again but this time with extra cheesecake pieces
Sonic is a classic place to enjoy on sunny days, especially with their drive-in option. I really love their chili fries and shakes!
