This restaurant has serious issues with staffing or management. Half the time, the drive-thru lanes are closed, leaving only one lane open. The line moves very slowly, and customers end up waiting on the road because there is not enough space in the line. Even when the lanes are open, customers still experience long waits. It is not advisable to place an online order here as the drive-thru lanes may be closed, forcing customers to wait in the single open lane. It is puzzling why people continue to wait in line when the service is so inefficient. It is best to avoid this restaurant if you can't handle the long wait times.
I recently ordered $50 worth of food from DoorDash, and when the dasher delivered my order, I was disappointed to find that half of it was missing. I ordered combos, but they came without any sides or sauces, making it a total waste of money. Despite trying to contact the restaurant multiple times, they refused to answer. This experience really frustrated me, and I don't usually leave reviews, but I had to share my disappointment.
Horrible experience. Manager taking orders was rude. Forced to go through drive thru. No onion rings, which was the thing we wanted most. Ordered tater tots and the taste was awful. The oil clearly hasn't been changed in God knows how long.. Ordered a supersonic double bacon cheeseburger. No bacon. Meat was cold and hard. Top it all off slushy was melted. Sonic is like most businesses now, they don't have enough people working so the service suffers. There was one person taking orders,making orders ?, and bring ing them out to the cars. I don't understand why there ? is such a shortage of people to work. It is the same everywhere you look, business are hurting for people to work. I have visited this restaurant three times in the past week. The first two times, I requested peach flavored water and was given Sprite with peach. Tonight, I ordered a strawberry lemonade and received a strawberry Sprite instead.
Sonic is a favorite go-to spot on hot summer days. Nothing seems to cool as much as a Route 44 (extra large) slush. Then, if you need some of that soft ice for a drink later, they will gladly sell you a bag of their famous ice.
Happy Hour is every hour on the app. Can't beat that. A regular watering hole.Parking: Some spots have been blocked off due to employee shortages, but still plenty of room to park.
