My wife and I were visiting Florida. I had a taste for baroque. So I search places near our hotel and stumbled across Sonny's. And so we went to try it and was very well pleased with our service, our server and most of all the food. Our server name wasMattie and she did an excellent job. That's the kind of service I be ooking for. And with that being said We will definitely beback and I would suggest You try it too. #Sonny's #Mattie is an awesome server and deserves a raise and a hefty tip
There are many good BBQ restaurants. There are some great BBQ restaurants. The Sonny’s Restaurant on north 9th Ave in Pensacola #59) is extraordinary. It is clean, the personnel are polite, efficient, friendly, and honest and the chow, the chow is off the chart delicious; consistently excellent! It is very apparent this is an expertly and carefully managed establishment. Thank you. Don’t change a thing.
Great service, really good food. They used to have 'redneck egg rolls ' which were amazing. They changed the name, and apparently changed the recipe slightly, too. They 're still really, really good... almost as good as before. I had the steak burger whichwas just what I was hungry for. My friends shared a rib platter and some fried okra, which was wonderful!
Food was good but my order was wrong. They gave me 2 chocolate chip cookies instead of the banana pudding I ordered. Assuming since they didn't highlight that, they were out. However substituting it without asking, and for an item that cost 6.00 lessthan what I ordered is pretty rude. It's basically stealing money from me. Probably won't return due to that. The chicken was moist the brisket was amazing the ribs were delicious and the pulled pork was fire and last but not least the garlic bread was on point! I recommend their in house Amber washed everything down smoothly! Gaven was our waiter and tookreally good care of us during the time of us eating.????????????
I ordered the St Louis ribs and I must they were absolutely delicious. The dry rub tasted great, food was hot, and good portion size. French fries were seasoned and garlic bread was good also. Mac and cheese was decent. Overall good drive thru dinner forthe price
The brisket, pulled pork, chicken, potato salad, fries, beans, were all great! I didn't care much for the mac n cheese nor the sausage. I like the size of their cups for soda. Overall a great bbq place!
