Food was good to include the 36 ounce bone in steak. Nice flavor. The shrimp scampi had a nice dippable for bread base. However the shrimp themselves were grocery store caliber. My favorite was the pepperoni pizza as an appetizer. The chopped salad was nice but the cut peppers were so overwhelmingly salty it obscured how nicely prepped and dressed the salad was with cheese, olives and cut salami. Pasta was OK. The seasonal fruit tiramisu was wonderful and nice with coffee and wine. We reserved Sorella because of all the great reviews and I am so sad to say we were a bit disappointed. We went there for my birthday, 4 of us. Wine was overall okay, not a good selection of wine by the glass and a very small pour for the price Maybe 4 oz for $14 ish dollars) We ordered 3 apps one was the artichokes, and they were a canned texture. I was expecting fresh but tasted like the canned from Costco heated up in a lemon wine sauce. The bread was excellent though. We ordered a tasteless seared swordfish steak, overcooked shrimp scampi (if the shrimp looks like an "O," it’s too overcooked), and a roasted half chicken that I’ve had better of from a sidewalk vendor in Paris for a fraction of the price. For dessert, I tried the tiramisu, and it was terrible. A note to the chef: there's no need to alter the original recipe—it’s perfect as it is. A pleasure to dine here. Straightforward menu with a selection that can please almost any diner. Service was polite and attentive and everyone appeared to be enjoying themselves. The Pizza Salad an odd name was delicious and satisfying. I had the pesto gnocchi with short ribs. Delicious but a tad too salty (and I'm one who loves salty dishes). I chose Sorellas for my husband’s birthday dinner, and everything was outstanding! The atmosphere was lovely, the service was top-notch, and the food was incredible. We sampled the gnocchi, lamb, and chicken, and each dish was delightful. The pizza brought back memories of Florence. Our server, Zoe, was friendly and attentive, offering excellent recommendations for both food and wine. We will certainly be returning!
Fantastic as usual. We took friends that had never been to Sorella before. Had an outstanding holiday get together time. Everything was delicious, right down to the cocktails. Outdoor tent was perfect and temp was ideal. Love Sorella as it never disappoints!
The food is exceptional! We sat in the bar area, so the overall noise level was manageable, but it was quite loud in the restaurant section. This is definitely one of our favorite places to eat in Milwaukee! The food quality is consistently five stars!
5/5 for them, fantastic experience. I know there is nothing they can do about loud customers and it's not necessarily a quiet setting so with that being said just be understanding and enjoy the amazing experience. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
The food is tasteful and well planned. We noted there are no salt and pepper shakers on the table. No need for salt or pepper. The food is that good. Our server Kat is friendly and conscientious.
