Amazing, just wonderful. It was a special occasion and this was the perfect place to celebrate. High end without being pretentious, we had the 5 course tasting menu and it was just amazing. The duck was sublime. We then asked to also have a dessert from the main menu so good to have them be flexible with such requests. Having been before we had high expectations and these were exceeded. Service as one would expect but not stuffy or too formal just right.
My husband and I tried the tasting menu and wine pairing and it was excellent. Exquisite nine course menu that combines a multitude of flavours. Service is very friendly and professional. I particularly enjoyed listening and chatting to the sommelier about the journey of the vines. Expensive but worth it if you want a memorable meal and be introduced to a few new wine favourites.. Enjoy !
we really enjoyed our meal at Sorrel. We had the 9 course meal and enjoyed every course The atmosphere in the restaurant was high end but also not stuffy or too clinical (as experienced in some other Michelin star restaurants)

We only visited because we love The Anker in Ripley. The staff were hilarious, attentive, and informed. We had an amazing afternoon with AMAZING food and wine! This is now our go-to spot for hosting guests.
