There is an overabundance of fast food and pub style restaurants in the Stony Plain / Spruce Grove area but we finally have one restaurant where you can get a pretty decent meal in a nice, relaxed environment. The restaurant serves primarily Italian food, concentrating on pasta. The pizza is made in a wood oven and is quite good. The pasta is fresh and sauces are flavourful. The braised beef is excellent! The bar is bright and airy and also features the full menu from the dining room plus some bar appetizers. The wine list is not extensive but offers some good choices.
Overall service and food was amazing. However, the lounge area felt a bit un organized and messy. The staff tend to keep this area at the bar too cluttered with glasses, cleaning supplies visible to the public. Overall not appealing to those who are eating and enjoying a drink.
Very busy as it was Father's Day and the Oilers playoffs. Staff did great for the volume of customers and the food was really good.
