Went last weekend. Made a reservation a week prior. We arrived at our reservation time only to be told it would be a 20 25 minute wait. What?? The hostess then explained that she doesn 't know why they take reservations since the establishment doesn 't actually hold the tables. Insane. No manager standing by to apologize to the many guests who got the same news we did. Our first and last visit. I hope management learns the basics of how to operate a restaurant. EDIT: In response to the owner 's reply, I want to be clear that we left upon being told about the wait we did not eat or drink at Sorrento. We went across the street and ate at Wine and Cheese. Was there last night with my spouse. My fish was overly cooked, only eat half of it. I mentioned to waitress and she said the manager wouldn't take it of the bill and the manager would not talk to us. Very unprofessional. I had some good experiences there, fish is usually my favorite, perhaps the cook had a bad night. Whatever that happens sometimes but unfortunately won't be going back, I'll have to find another place that will appreciate my money...
Had a function with 10 people. They were very accommodating and had a great experience. Large menu, several nice specials, and solid service. Food came out timely hot and portion sizes were really big. Calamari was tender and mozzarella sticks were not greasy or chewy. Pasta, chicken and fish dishes all came out great.
Food was OK but part of my wife's meal was undercooked. Atmosphere was upsetting and distracting due to a table of diners who appeared to either work there or knew the owner loud and foul language and obnoxious behavior the entire time we were there won't be going back. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Delicious and generously-portioned Italian meat sandwich. John, the server, was attentive and warm. Atmosphere and decor were both pleasing and eye-catching. Although I don't live close to Sorrento, I'll return at my earliest opportunity.
Ate there last night (2/5/23). Food was tremendous!! Everything else was terrible!! We literally froze eating dinner!! Waited an hour for or meal, then another 45 minutes for the check due to some malfunction with the register.
Went here for dad's birthday, we had a great time. Our waiter was great and the food and drinks were delicious. Everyone had a great time!
