I'm so glad that I found this cute bakery tucked away in the beautiful downtown Hyde Park. There were so many delicious items to choose from. I decided to try the cannoli cake and a cookie (maybe shortbread with a jam filling? The cookie was very good. The jam was slightly tart yet sweet but not too sweet! It was a light cookie portion was crumbly and light. I wish I would've grabbed 2. The cake was delicious. The patty was very light and airy. The frosting was no heavy nor was it overwhelmingly sweet. I visited this restaurant on Sunday, July 30th. I'm not sure where the pictures of the lobster tails come from in all the reviews because the one I received looks nothing like them. I wanted to try the Sfogliatelle because it looked good, but unfortunately they were not available. The display case had an eclair that had fallen and was crushed against the glass, which was unappetizing. The cappuccino was nothing special. No one handed me my order, the workers just left it on the counter without even telling me it was ready. This place seemed promising from the outside, but the experience inside was completely different.
Not gonna lie- this is one of my favorite places for a cappuccino in Hyde Park Village! Just had a cappuccino and a delicious almond biscotti, while my hubs enjoyed a fabulous caramel macchiato. We sat inside because it's a humid night here in Tampa- and it was quiet and lovely even though customers came in and out the entire time, because the yumminess is clearly not a secret The young ladies who work here are so sweet and helpful! We are originally from NY and know good food. This was our first time visiting this bakery and WOW, we were impressed from beginning to end. The person who took our order was extremely nice and made us feel welcomed. He recommended the hazelnut iced coffee which was a 10/10, out of this world. Haven't had iced coffee this good in over a decade and the almond croissants are perfection. This place is AMAZING and our new favorite authentic Italian bakery.
I absolutely adore this restaurant! They serve genuine Italian desserts, freshly made savory dishes, fantastic espresso, and refreshing iced coffees with a variety of flavors and milk options. The ambiance is perfect, located in the heart of Hyde Park with efficient and welcoming customer service. Bonus: they also provide water-filled dog bowls for all the furry friends in the Florida heat.
I bought some of their individual dessert shots last night, trying out four different flavors. Unfortunately, the whipped cream tasted like it had been sitting in a fridge for too long, leaving an unpleasant aftertaste. The custard in the vanilla shot was also rancid, so I had to throw them out. However, the iced earl grey tea they served me was quite good.

The bakery is very authentic. Italian Pastries are Amazing. Great coffee! The food and atmosphere fits perfectly in Hyde Park. This is a must try for all coffee lovers as well!
