Went in on Saturday as we were hungry think next time I’ll walk into town food was not nice at all fish was greasy with a odd taste to it chips undercooked staff not very friendly and manager seemed to shout at them a lot few lessons keep your staff happy they will keep your customers happy Cook food properly and use fresh ingredients no one minds waiting a few mins for fresh chips and fresh fish Follow these rules and you’ll get your food back on track and I’ll return with all your other customers keep going the way you are and you’ll end up closed
The Fish and Chips were outstanding! They were cooked to order, with a light and crispy batter and incredibly fresh fish. We returned the next night just half an hour before closing, and the owner kindly allowed us to stay. The Beef Chow Mein was delicious, and the Fish and Chips were just as excellent as the night before. The staff was friendly and attentive. I would definitely come back if I'm in the area again!
Went in for fish and chips to take away. Got home unwrapped and was very disappointed when I saw the 2 large fish we'd paid £3.60 each for were actually very small thin slithers. If they were large I'd wouldn't want to see the the small. Won't be returning, very expensive and a lot smaller than expected does not live up to their name.

Just had the best fish and chips from Crispy Cod. The chips were golden and the fish beautifully white and done in a lovely thin Crispy batter, just as the name sugggests.
Love this place we have been going there over 5 years the food is great and the staff could not be more helpful we would recommend to all
