One of the worst restaurants I have ever been to. What makes it so bad is not only that they cook Italian dishes that make you think you are back in the 1980s, but that such dishes are also so overpriced! I don't mind dishes being expensive, but if you charge $38 for a Tagliatelle Boscaiola then you cannot give your customers a dish with such indecent taste! This restaurant is run by old generation Italians and they have no clue what Italian cuisine is like today. If at least the service had been a little better, then I would have given it 2 stars. We love this place. It is family run and that sort of food (delicious). BYO is a bonus and there is a liquor store few doors away. The food is not cheap. Good ingredients don't come cheap and smaller places don't have the buying power of large hospitality groups. Please be realistic in your expectations. You can realistically expect delicious traditional style Italian food served with Italian charm and generosity of spirit. If you are in a hurry, go elsewhere. If you want cheap and cheerful, go elsewhere. If you want fancy and fawning waiters, go elsewhere. Leave this place for those of us who like genuine food and genuine hospitality. And please leave me a serve of the seafood parpadelle.
Last night we were delighted to discover this local gem. Our table of four was well taken care of and the food was so good! My husband enjoyed the calamari and the traditional meat lasagna. The buffalo mozzarella and mortadella entree’ then papardelle with seafood for me, both oh so delicious!! The sauce laced with plenty of garlic, ginger and a hint of chilli, I was in heaven. Lovely dessert selection and good coffee. We’ll return soon.
last night was the first time we visited this hidden gem. I was in many good restaurants and I diniere regularly, but this place takes the cake! I have never eaten so delicious, high quality, authentic Italian cuisine in my life. the portions are generous and every bite is like the heaven, we will surely return!

What a fabulous little gem we stumbled upon this evening! The food was the best we've had outside of Italy. The flavors were amazing, and they truly celebrate and support local ingredients. The quality is absolutely top-notch. We definitely plan to come back!
This is the perfect description of what a hidden gem is, the food is spectacular, 10/10, highly authentic Italian cuisine, all dishes were so flavoursome , you honestly couldn’t fault it.Ps: it’s also BYO.

The portions are small, the prices are quite high, and the waiter was really rude. I would not recommend going there.
