This relatively new cafe is owned and operated by a friendship circle, so it's no surprise that customers are greeted with a warm welcome and smiles when they walk through the door. All the dishes served are kosher. I tried a cortado and a warm chocolate chip cookie during my visit. A bonus of this place is that it is connected to an art gallery, where they sell beautiful artworks that support a very worthy cause. I will definitely be returning soon for breakfast or lunch!
The food at this restaurant was delicious, but unfortunately the head host or head waitress was extremely rude to their employees. My daughter had wanted to apply for a job there, especially because of their Jewish heritage, but as a parent I couldn't allow my child to work in such a toxic environment. I understand that everyone has good and bad days, so perhaps the front lady could benefit from taking some time off to regroup from a business standpoint.
I recently had brunch at this restaurant and I have to say it was a fantastic experience. The price per person was between $20 and $30, which I found to be very reasonable for the quality of food and service. I would rate both the food and service a 5 out of 5. This is a review for the event space, where our community organization holds weekly meetings. The atmosphere is very nice, welcoming, clean, and well-lit. The food is consistently tasty, coffee is strong and fresh, and the staff are so kind. Definitely recommend renting this space if you're having an event! The overall experience at this restaurant was disappointing. The food and service were both mediocre. There was a lack of diversity among the clientele. The limited drink options were unimpressive, with the only non-original option being Starbucks. Overall, not a satisfying experience.
