AVOID!!! Having moved to Perth from USA recently, i was keen to find a good mexican restaurant - this is not it!! The food was barely edible, its presentation was poor and the service was really bad. Myself and my partner went on a Monday night so it was quiet. Nonetheless, our order took 45 minutes. The prices were very expensive for food of such poor quality. To add insult to injury, both myself and my partner had upset stomach later on....this is possibly the worst restaurant ive ever eaten in ????
I love this place. Gavin and his staff have managed to make a Mexican restaurant that isn't pretentious, or expensive. To look at it's rustic and simple, just like the food, which is delicious. Mexican Coffee is cheap and never runs out. Music is a mix of everything EVERYONE loves, and the staff are friendly and ready to talk to. There are plenty of gluten free options, and some that can be made GF without tortilla's.
With the proximity to South beach this is the place everyone needs to try
Came here for a quick feed after walking the dogs at a nearby dog beach. Food came out in a timely manner with the waitress providing exceptional service. The restaurant is very welcoming for dogs and provided us with doggy bowls and fresh water. The fish tacos I ordered were generously filled and the beer battered fish was super crunchy. Would definitely pop by again for a decent feed.
Convinced my family to order from here then was so embarrassed that i apologised. The soft tacos should be 1/3 of the price and even then that doesn't make up for how dry and plain they are. The pulled pork is just chunks of pork. Maybe other items on the menu are better.

We used a scoopon deal. We were unsure of how our dinner would turn out after reading mixed reviews. However, we were pleasantly surprised. Tacos were great. I particularly like the mushroom and the fish tacos. Service was great too. Definitely worth the deal.
Terrible and very over priced. Don't recommend sorry. Poor service. Wrong order. Have tried a couple of times. Will not return. Did not enjoy at all. Very loud staff in the kitchen as we'll!
The food is edible but it's way too expensive. It's never busy, ever and after going once I don't think I'll return again. The all you can eat tacos is all you can eat just be aware.
We ordered once before and were impressed with the quality of food but on that occation the food was 40 minutes late! Decided to try again as we enjoyed

Tucked away at the end of the street, South Beach tacos is a beaming light of flavors and fare on any given night.
