I visited the restaurant on a Tuesday afternoon around 6 PM, and there were hardly any customers—only one person ahead of us in line. The cashier who took our order was extremely friendly and accommodating, taking the time to explain the various seasoning options. We opted for the mild garlic butter with a hint of Old Bay. They keep the crab legs frozen behind the counter and weighed them for us. We also ordered a pound of medium shrimp, peeled and deveined, along with large broccoli and sausage. Our meal took about 30 minutes to prepare, and when we finally opened our platter, everything looked mouthwatering! Been to this place twice. This will be one spot I come to when I want to get some pretty decent seafood. Very reasonably priced, they will steam or boil food there, shrimp, crab, crab legs, lobster tails, etc. And shake some seasoning (mild, hot, old bay, etc. of their own making and man oh man was it good! Straight fye First time I was here they used to fry your fish too. One of the things that caught my attention because there are no, You Buy, We Fry places in South Carolina. But that was in 2022 when I last visited.
The prices have gone up considerably. The menu is not very straightforward, and some items are missing entirely. For instance, potatoes, eggs, and corn used to cost 50 cents each, but now they're $1. The previous prices were already steep, and now they seem excessive. I only come here occasionally because it's actually cheaper to cook at home. That said, if you're in a rush and need to feed a few people, this place is adequate. The staff, however, is really friendly.
I went there to start eating Healthier. I got two catfish and a few scallops. Before going to the Sea Food Store I stopped at Kroger's to buy Hawaiian Rolls and TARTER SAUCE. Awesome! Glad I found this place for great blue crabs. The even have cleaned frozen blues so I can get them to do my curry crabs at home. The carry all Patton sausages, both pork and beef, links and patties. Photos are before and after. I smashed.
I've eaten here before and enjoyed the food, but during my recent visit, there were quite a few flies buzzing around. I saw a staff member at the counter trying to swat them away and killing some, but he didn't wash his hands afterward.
I pre-ordered 3 dozen crabs with several sides for my mom's B day dinner! The customer service was amazing and the food was cooked perfectly!! I'll definitely be back for more!!
