The Drunken Noodles came in a generous portion, but the noodles were narrower than I expected; they should have featured broader rice noodles. This narrower shape results in less surface area for the essential spicy sauce, making each bite less enjoyable, which is crucial for this dish. The same vegetables from the soup made an appearance in this dish, but there simply weren't enough of them to create a proper balance with the noodles. There was an excess of pasta and not nearly enough crunch, leading to a denser, drier meal that lacked the excitement of hot noodles coated in a spicy sauce.

We also sampled the Papaya salad, Massaman curry with chicken, and Thai coffee. Unfortunately, none of the dishes truly impressed us. The Papaya salad was pretty typical, and although the Massaman curry was decent—sweet with a hint of spice and a touch of coconut milk—the chicken was a bit tough. I was surprised by how sweet the Thai coffee was; since I'm not a big fan of Thai tea due to its usual sweetness, I didn't expect the coffee to be similarly sweet.
In conclusion, I might consider visiting once more, but I’m unsure if I would return on my own.
The food at this restaurant is outstanding, the place is impeccably clean, and the staff is incredibly friendly. Parking can be somewhat tricky since there's a small lot behind the restaurant. I enjoyed a dine-in dinner, and the cost per person was between $20 and $30. I would give the food a perfect score of 5, the service also a 5, and the atmosphere another 5. I highly recommend trying the Crispy Calamari, Basil Chicken, and Pad Thai. Additionally, there is a free parking lot available.
Overall, I found the food to be quite enjoyable. The drunken noodles had an interesting flavor that was a bit unusual. Just a warning, the level 2 spice is very spicy! The Thai takeaway is truly exceptional! I strongly recommend the Basil Chicken and the Drunken Noodles. The Coconut Chicken is clearly made from scratch with fresh coconut flakes, not some frozen prepackaged mix—it's absolutely delicious! Don't miss out on their unique iced tea made by Nice! And if you see their food truck, be sure to queue up!
I’m not sure why anyone would give this place a bad review! The food is consistently excellent, and the staff are always friendly and incredibly pleasant. Occasionally, the wait can be a bit longer than anticipated, but that’s a minor issue considering how delicious the South Seas cuisine is!
