Great food, charming atmosphere! Whether it's early in the day and you need a pick-me-up or it's later in the evening and you're looking for good drinks and a laidback ambiance, this is the place to go. Right on the train tracks and part of the Pearl River train station, you can even stop in on your way in or your way out of town! My favorite place to frequent in pearl river!
This was my first visit to the restaurant, and I had a great experience. The food was delicious, and the drinks were excellent too. The staff was friendly and very attentive. Overall, I dined in for dinner, and the price per person was around $30 to $50.
What can I say about Southbound? It's a hidden gem! It may seem small, but the food is fantastic and the atmosphere is incredibly welcoming. Plus, it serves as a coffee shop in the mornings! I will definitely be returning!

Wow. There were no masks in sight—neither the bartender nor any of the patrons at the bar seemed to acknowledge that Covid-19 ever existed. I immediately left. I can't help but wonder who they voted for.
The nicest bartender I’ve ever met was the lovely Irish woman. She not only charged my dead phone when I was stranded but sat with me and walked me to my ride when I was there. Amazing and attentive.
