Southern Angel Donuts: Located in the heart of Pinehurst, NC, Southern Angel Donuts serves all of Moore County using old world recipes and hand formed techniques. The shop offers a plethora of interesting flavors, but seeing as I had a lot of food to try while visiting the area, I kept it to one. Peanut butter is a relatively unique flavor and one of my favorites from other doughnut shops that I've visited. I thought the texture of this yeast doughnut was exemplary as it was airy with a nice amount of chewiness. The dough itself had a nice buttery flavor, but I know what you all care about is that peanut butter frosting. That's where things begin to go a bit south as the peanut butter frosti...
We just moved into town and it is sooo good /dangerous to be living so close to this place! My wife always struggled to find a good, classic sour cream cake donut and this place finally delivered! The long John’s have this incredible marshmallowy filling that is to die for. It’s going to become a weekend tradition to swing through and grab one with some coffee while we live here!
Every time i come into town, I always stop here to get the apple fritters. Don’t get me wrong, the donuts are fantastic but the apple fritter may very well be the best pastry i’ve ever had. Do yourself a favor and get some fresh in the morning, you won’t regret it!
This is hard because I REALLY love the donuts, proximity to my home, selection, etc… but the worker, Ashley, ruins it. I usually chalk it up to it’s her personality but my last interaction was unbearable. She’s really mean for no reason. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Awesome little donut shop and super yummy. Love the owner, she is always welcoming and friendly. Crazy variety and fun options.
Person working was fantastic, listened to my daughters wants, and helped her pick the best donuts. Everything was fantastic.
