I ordered a breakfast to go and I must say that I was pleasantly pleased with the woman who took my order over the phone, the service provided upon my arrival, and my delicious meal. I had stopped patronizing this restaurant for multiple reasons. But, I'm happy that I came back. They are better than ever.
This is hands down the best fried chicken we've ever tasted! The mac and cheese was spot on as well. My husband is quite particular about his soul food, but after trying the dishes here, we've decided that we will only get our soul food from this place. #TeamAllen approved!
The food, the service everything was exceptional. We had a large group with another large group on the other side and they took such good care of us. They make it a pleasure to support a local business. The Catfish was particularly good.

I WENT TO SOUTHERN GIRLS FOR THE 1ST TIME JUNE 4, 2017 GOT THE BUFFET , SO I COULD TASTE EVERYTHING, TO MY SURPRISE EVERYTHING TASTE GOOD, ESPECIALLY THE FISH, THE STUFFING, OKRA . WOW THE FOOD WAS SO GOOD.
So good! Ice tea was on point. The sides weren’t overly seasoned but they did compliment the meat. The turkey was well seasoned and the gravy is good too. Excellent service—sweet and patient lady.
The food is exceptional and the service is fantastic. I highly recommend this place!
