I came in right after it opened and maybe before the lunch rush so I didn’t wait long. I ordered the Taste of Chicago, which is a sampler plate. It was plenty of food to share a little and I had some to snack on later. I could probably eat it all myself in one sitting if I wanted.. It was so delicious. This will be my main bbq place from now on. There’s no dining area and you place your order at the window. There are a few benches for you to sit while you wait.
I'm from Chi-town and have been here in Georgia for 3 years. Finally found a real Chicago style barbeque place. Met the female owner and yes they are from Chicago as well. Good Que, very good Italian beef sandwich (a Chicago favorite) and very good fries. Thank you Southside BBQ for making me feel like I'm back home. Can't wait until you guys get in more hot links. Will definitely be going back
I really enjoyed the Italian beef and the BBQ rib tips upon entering the building the smell of home will greet you. (If you are from Chicago). The staff is extremely welcoming and friendly, excellent customer service. I will definitely be returning as a Regular. It's so great to know that I can get great hometown food from a great establishment Satisfied Customer
Good first time experience. The lady that took my order was very nice, she even brought my food to the car so I would not have to take my son back out of the car seat. I really appreciated that. The chicken and the sauce was good and I really liked the baked beans. I purchased the jerk chicken for my husband, I think he will enjoy it. I will definitely be back. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Lord have mercy!! I just had the tip they were so tender and the sauce and beans are 5 stars forsure. I'm from Michigan and the way we did it is the way they do it. Putting the light bread under the meat with the sauce over it . I'm 45 minutes away but this will definitely be my spot. If you haven't had there food your missing out.
I called ahead before going to the restaurant and the answering machine informed me that as of May 5, 2022, the restaurant is closed. Just a heads up!
SouthSide Chicago BBQ is an authentic and Delicious real Pit BBQ establishment. The staff is welcoming and the prices are very reasonable.

This restaurant has permanently closed. I believe Hattie Marie's will be the next popular spot to visit.
