We have eaten here before and loved it. After they had seated us, they tried to move us, claiming that they put us at the wrong table. When my husband asked what was wrong with our table, after much discussion between the server and hostess, we were allowed to stay. The server seemed irritated. We hardly saw him after that. After sitting for a very long time after dinner, waiting to see the dessert menu, a different server brought it after noticing how long we had sat there. Food was fine, not as good as we remembered. We don’t come into the city often and had looked forward to it since the last time we were here, almost a year ago. Sadly, I don’t think we will be back
It’s an LA institution which is still as strong as ever. It was our first time and we didn’t know what to expect other than a good meal. Spago blew us away, from the super friendly greeting, to the excellent service, the amazing food, and even a visit by Mr. Wolfgang Puck himself. His presence made it clear that Spago is not resting on its laurels. We found a new place to visit regularly such a lovely evening.
Black Friday Dinner at Spago’s!!! Still the iconic Puck LA wonder joint after all these years. Two of us were early and grabbed a bar booth when they opened. Wolfgang’s signature Wiener schnitzel is still the ultimate tonkatsu!! And his fav childhood strawberry soufflé dessert can only be had here!!! Enjoy the holiday lights on Rodeo and then stroll over to Canon because Spago’s is the KING!!

As always, fabulous! The tasting menu with Dine LA was amazing. The tour of the kitchen was excellent with a treat and then cakes to take home from the chef. So nice.
Great dining experience! Our server, Conrad was excellent. His choice of dishes was perfect. The night was topped off by meeting Chef Wolfgang himself :
Service was amazing! Duck was a bit undercooked, made it hard to cut and eat. Plates were very small for the price.
This place is consistently excellent! I have never had a bad experience here!
