Sparta Chicken (st Catherine)

This was damn good! It has to be the most tender grilled chicken I've ever had. It was cooked perfectly! I really enjoyed the lemony flavour of the sauce (which I'm assuming is their signature sauce), but I feel that it could have used some sweetness because it was a bit too tart for me. It was also very salty. I'd recommend eating it with some tzatziki to balance out the flavours. But the fact it didn't have to ask for extra sauce on the chicken since it already came drowned in it is what really impressed me! They have a very straightforward menu chicken, fries, salad and pita. Though I'll admit their fries and pita look very tasty, so I'll give them a shot when I visit this restaurant agai...

The great: I am obsessed with the food. I love the spice blends they use. Its a small menu, but a menu done well. I cant stop eating the chicken and fries with whatever that lemon butter sauce is they pour on it, it 's just great. The portion is nice and big too. Big hunk of chicken, big pile of fries. No complaints there. My criticisms: I do wish the interior of this place was a bit nicer. There 's wallpaper falling off the walls, it definitely has a.. hole in the wall type of food joint feeling. You don 't go there for the aesthetics, thats for sure. I also wish they had better forks and knives. It 's a challenge eating bone-in chicken with the plastic cutlery they have, on too-tiny paper...

Best chicken in Montréal half breast and leg +Fries. The grilled chicken taste amazing with the red spicy sauce makes you return again and order another meal . This plate cost 17,25$ the portion it’s not big although before the pandemic the meal was prepared with big portions, I think they change the administration different faces then before . Anyhow it’s the only place that you can find chicken without fat and it taste super good . Recommend. Definitely, Should give it try .

TOWN is one of my favorite spots! They serve Halal chicken that is incredibly delicious! Their hot sauce is just AMAZING. I can't emphasize enough how much I love this place; I always order the chicken. I'll definitely be back! While the seating and ambience aren't the best—it's more of a place for a quick meal—I'm usually a fan of beautiful decor and chic seating. Considering all you get is fries and chicken, the value isn't great. A tiny portion of coleslaw or something would really make this seem more worthwhile. The chicken is delectable and nicely seasoned but it doesn't stand strong enough to be a whole meal on it's own. More of a take out location, was not very comfortable eating here. Especially since they only offer flimsy plastic cutlery to eat bone-in chicken. Service isn't great.

One of my favorites! The chicken, the atmosphere, the fries—it's all fantastic. I make a special trip from Ottawa just to enjoy the Sparta Half Chicken Trio meal. In comparison to Nando's in Ottawa, this place is far superior. And by the way, they offer a 15% discount for students! Enjoy the photo!
