I hate to do this review as we would like to keep SPER to ourselves! Absolutely outstanding! Food, decor, intimacy (just our family) and Dowg (Chef/Owner). Every course was terrific. Charcuterie Board, Salad with Cod Cake; Soup and Main courses (Trout, Beef, Pork, Shrimps and root vegetables). A true artist that presented unique variations on each dish that were universally delicious. Do yourself a favour and bring you closest friends and family to this extraordinary culinary experience!
Chef Doug prepared us a special brunch back in winter of 2020, but it was so memorable and delicious that I still think about it regularly. Incredible menu, local fresh ingredients, unlike anything we've ever had. Beautiful cozy little restaurant with lovely charming touches. Looking forward to going back again soon! If you visit Warkworth it's a must, along with Lucky Star's Cafe, and Centre Main Chocolate.
Came on an unexpectedly busy day (during the Lilac Festival). They still tried to accommodate as many people as they could despite running out of food. The Khachapuri I got was delicious and the salad balanced out the richness perfectly.

Had our first take-home feast from Sper last night. Incredible food. Chef Doug is a food artist. I highly recommend this gourmet experience. Looking forward to his next menu.
Doug provides a truly one of a kind experience! Everything from the food to the atmosphere is wonderful. Can't recommend enough and I definitely hope to be back soon!
