Nothing compares with home cooked food, spices probably done and not from packet. This is Spice Express, where they serve probably the most authentic Malaysian Indian and Malaysian cuisine in Perth. You get a lot of choices from the dosai, to the curry puff, to the nasi lemak and so on. Prices are a bit higher, and the portions a bit small, so be prepared to order 2 dishes to have your cravings fulfilled. Nothing ends the dish better than a hand made teh tarik to wash down all that good food. The restaurant is a bit on the small side, and its always packed, so come early and be prepared for a wait for a seat, or takeaway.
Frequent this place, but it gets busy on Weekends. The food is excellent, but dont expect to have a chill morning breakfast / lunch as the place is small and ppl would be waiting outside so you would feel rushed to finish up your food and go. But otherwise worth the visit as the food quality is always high.
This place serves delicious Malaysian hawker favourites like nasi lemak, mee rebus. Mee siam etc. small and canteen style dining. No atmosphere only delicious food. But a bit pricey and the portions and servings are too small. Parking is a problem.

Reasonable prices for good sized portions of food. The boss was also very friendly. No ambience, just some chairs and tables for you to have your meals. Have to get there early otherwise you will be waiting for a seat.

Beautiful authentic and tasty cuisine , my favourite food ever never lets me down i am european culture and i have spice express once a week for my fix some times twice a week sambal is my favourite
Ate here for breakfast and we had three dosa and vadai, fried chicken and sweet pancake. The food is tasty and very good value for money. Limited dining space but popular amongst Malaysians.

Very yummy and authentic Asian food. Mee rebus, lontong and nasi lemak were great and at good prices. Does tend to get crowded so buying takeaway is an option too !
Came here because another restaurant was full. Get here early as theres only a couple of small tables
