The restaurant came recommended from some friends, though they hadn't tried the fondue, it didn't disappoint! Our table was already laid out for us in arrival ( you need to prebook the fondue) to start we had a meat and cheese plate to share watch out for the horseradish. There was plenty of meat, Pork,Beef and Chicken along with a large bowl of chips and salad as well as bread, we finished it off with Apple Strudel and Chocolate fondue, our waiter was excellent and attentive.Getting there, any taxi will know where to take you, or you walk up the Spielberg weg about a 10 to 15 minute walk from the top of the pedestrianised road in town. Wir haben das Spielberghaus im Rahmen einer Schwedentour besucht. Das Essen: Spareribs und Bratkartoffeln mit zwei verschiedenen Soßen schmeckten gut. Allerdings hätte es auch mit etwas Gemüse, z.B. ein Salat mit Tomaten zum Essen. Als Nachtisch gab es die klassischen Apfelstrudeln. Es gab viele Gruppen mit lauten und betrunkenen Leuten. Wir spielten früh und gingen nach etwa 1,5 Stunden.
Food is very good but it is the overall experience that makes the difference - being picked up by a snowplow and taken a few kilometers up the mountain, eating very good food, playing "nagel" and then bobsledding back down the very same route you came up from is truly priceless! We come here every year we are in Saalbach and it never disappoints! A must go-to when in the area!

We had a really enjoyable evening at Spielberghaus for dinner. Food was well prepared and very tasty. Wines and drinks were of sufficient variety. The only problem is that you are required to complete your meal in under two hours as you are shuttled up and down the mountain and need to make space for the next guests.
First being picked ut på a snow cat and transported to this wonderful place was a thrill. Then the service and food was very good. In the end we went tobogganing down to Saalbach on the lit slope. FANTASTIC FUN!
A welcoming refreshment stop in the mountains. Service very friendly and while always busy a really great place for lunch. The Radler and beers are good too! Visit almost every year - recommended.
We came several times to this restaurant. the view is amazing. the food is really good. and the service is very good, efficient and always with a smile. our favorite place by far !

Visited Alm twice during stay (once when I became lets say lost). Food and service very good. Alm very clean with some interesting items to look at on the walls
Stopped for lunch on a long walk, great food and quick friendly service. It was busy with a nice atmosphere a mix of walkers and mountain bikers.
