Will I come back? Yes and no. Yes for drinks as it has a great bar, but if I am completely honest, the food quality has declined significantly. I should have addressed this last time I was there, but I didn't want to cause any trouble. However, it seems like this may be the new normal. Please improve the standards and bring back the old quality of food. I know they still have bookings because they are open, but the overall experience is not the same. Some customers may still enjoy the bar, but many would prefer to dine elsewhere now. We hope they reconsider and go back to the way things were before.
I went to this restaurant today for lunch with my best friend. The place is well-managed and there is hand sanitizer available everywhere. We were escorted to our table and received table service from friendly and welcoming staff. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking to dine here, as the views overlooking the Clyde River are fantastic. Thank you to the staff for a great experience!
This was my first time dining out since lockdown, and I was impressed with the great service, delicious food, and the precautions taken to ensure everyone's safety. The Eat Out to Help Out offer was a bonus. I definitely recommend visiting again.
The food and drinks at this restaurant were fantastic. The hotel offers double rooms for 80 pounds and single rooms for 75 pounds. Water view rooms are available at the same price. I definitely plan on staying here during my next trip.

Local friendly go to hotel/bar not to be missed on the front Gourock with unrivalled views over the Ashton Prom and the moorings. If your very lucky you’ll get a beautiful sunset
Views to die for. Beautiful fish and chips and the Toffee Cheesecake was a delight. Pretty strong Vodka drinks too. Hic. Almost slipped getting back on the yacht.
My favourite place to eat and drink. And the staff are all just amazing????????
